Internet Banking
Individuals holding an account with HDFC bank can link their HDFC credit cards to their bank accounts through internet banking facility provided by HDFC bank. Since credit card has been issued by HDFC bank only, it takes lesser time to clear the payment made by the credit card holder.
Here the need to enter credit card number every time is completely eliminated and account holder is only required to select the linked credit card against which payment has to be made. This facility can be used anytime and from anywhere (provided account holder has internet facility).
Cheque
A credit card holder can also draw a cheque in favour of HDFC Bank Card A/c to make payment of his/her credit card bill. It is important for the card holder to mention his/her 16 digit HDFC credit card number on the cheque after HDFC Bank Card A/c so that payment gets credited to his/her card account only. This cheque can de dropped in a drop box which is generally available at HDFC ATM machines or at any HDFC bank branch.
ATM
A credit card holder can use HDFC bank ATM machines to make payment in respect of his/her credit card bill. Here, the account holder will have to transfer the amount from his/her bank account to the credit card account.
Cash At Branch
A credit card holder can visit any branch of HDFC bank and make payment in cash for his/her credit card bill. It is however important to note that a cash processing fees may be levied by the bank in case of payments made through cash. Moreover, payment through this method can be made only during working hours of the bank. Hence, it is advisable to use other means of payment in case credit card bill is not required to be cleared immediately.

A credit card holder can also make an online payment of his/her credit card bill by using any other bank account. Here a list of banks is available from which a card holder can choose his/her bank and make the payment.
It is a simple process and requires HDFC credit card number, amount and bank name (to be selected from the drop down) to be entered in respective fields by the card holder. So in case, an individual does not have a bank account with HDFC bank, he/she can still make an online payment of his/her HDFC credit card bill.
